Mapping the Japanese Regional Economy

The Japanese Municipal Economy Map uses data from the 2010 census to visualize the economic health of every Japanese municipality. The map presents a choropleth view of each municipality's economic deviation score based on an average of 50. If you hover over a municipality on the map you can view the municipality's score and a breakdown of its score for each of eight key economic indices.
